I was lucky to spend the past two weeks in Equador and on the Galapagos Islands. I hiked some on the most remarkable terrain among 18 different islands. No two places are alike and each setting has its own sense of beauty that defined its environment as well as animals that blanketed its landscape. We were fortunate in some cases to spy rare species like the Galapagos Hawk, the Marine Iguana or the Blue Footed Booby-species that can be found nowhere else but here.
I snorkeled with sharks, sea turtles and sea lions. The Galapagoes Islands are magical places where you see prime examples of animals and their environments changing with evolution.
